3 Weeks into the pilot phase Ontario’s winter is unforgiving, at best.

The -14 Celsius thinks little of staff and competitors in trekking through the Pilot Phase test site. An unexpected heat wave came through just a few days ago, and now we’re trudging through cold mud, as if living on the banks of the Holland Marsh in February wasn’t difficult enough.

The competitors, however, are focused and unwavering. This is a part of the experience, and their tunnel vision only allows them to concentrate on one thing: operating their technologies.

They’ve spent the last few weeks’ trouble shooting and improving test results as the water continues to flow, but rather than us recounting their experience, we’ll let you hear directly from those on site. Here’s a quick video, documenting their time so far on Pilot Phase. Enjoy!
